The Life-Link Community Trust (LLCT) was created in 2007 and serves the Tauranga South population by providing community services that fulfil the objectives of its trust deed, viewable in entirety  at www.societies.govt.nz . In summary, the objectives are:

To help families and communities, facilitate and/or provide assistance and opportunities through working with children, youth and adults using projects or programmes to improve the social, cultural , spiritual and economic lives of the people of the community, using an holistic approach.  Identifying skills, strengths and resources in the community and help to direct these for the benefit of the whole community, while also supporting existing programmes and community networks in the development of a better community environment.

To promote and/or establish coaching, training and education to create a meaningful difference in the well being of the learner, their family and/or their community.

To seek, promote, facilitate and provide relief of poverty and injustice by making provision for those in need, the distressed and victims of any natural or man made disaster.

The venue used for many of these programmes and projects is the Activity Centre to the rear of the  Greerton Bible Church property located on the corner of Chadwick and Oropi Roads, arterial routes within that community. Continuation of some of these is dependent on funding being available.

If you would like to stay in touch with what we are doing on a regualr basis sign up here to receive our e-newsletter The Life-Link Link.

The LLCT has five or more trustees (click to view profiles), who have a variety of backgrounds but all share a vision born of a desire to serve our community. All choose to serve on a voluntary basis so as not to deplete funds available to the community.

The expanding vision of LLCT has required us to employ a part-time administrator to assist in the management of funding applications.

Contributions towards the operation of community services is always welcome. In the first instance please contact us through the email address below. We would love to hear from you.
