Our Board Members Kevin Beagley (Board Chair 2017) Kevin is married to Margaret, and they have three adult children. After being educated in Tauranga Kevin qualified as a saw doctor at Pukepine. He moved with his family to Papua New Guinea to pass on those skills training local tradesmen in the sawmilling industry, and building local capacity to enable the handing over of the company to national management. Returning to NZ he worked in Auckland then Tauranga where they have retired though still involved in varied volunteer enterprises. He is a past branch president of the local Ulysees Motorcycle Club, conductor of the BOP Men’s Choir, and an active member of Greerton Bible Church.

Bruce is married to
Florence and together they have four
children enjoy eight grandchildren. He
has served four years in the NZ army, and worked in telecommunications until
moving to Australia to serve in various pastoral and teaching roles in Sydney.
Returning to New Zealand ten years ago he spent time as Business Manager with
the Salvation Army Community Ministries
in Tauranga. In both countries his extensive involvement in management at Board
and oversight level of Community and educational bodies has developed valuable
governance skills that he brings to Life-link Community Trust. Rosemary McIntosh (Board Member) Rosemary is married to Colin and they have three adult children and one son in law. Rosemary trained and registered as a nurse before moving to Papua New Guinea where they worked with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF). Rosemary's main role was unpaid, mostly in an informal capacity extending care and hospitality to others in MAF and the wider mission community assisting with assimilating into the new cultural environment. During their children's primary school years she was involved on the Board of the International Primary School. Since their return to NZ she has been working in reception at Greerton Bible Church where she is an active member. Jonathan Persson (Board Member)Jonathan is married to Lydia and they have three young children. He has been working in ICT for the last 20 years, the last 6 ½ being at Aquinas College where he is the ICT manager. Jonathan has been attending Greerton Bible Church for 20 years where he has been involved in various church ministries such as Youth Group, sound desk on Sunday mornings and most recently the running a Young Adults Bible Study in his home. |
